I love photographing couples and showing off their love story! Whether it is an engagement session, proposal shoot or just a fun shoot with the two of you I want to get to know the two of you and give you photos that tell your story the best.
Engagement sessions are included in each wedding packages because I believe it is that important! Engagement sessions are important to me not only to provide images to my couples for save the dates and wedding websites but we get to know each other, my shooting style and we get to document this special part of your story. I plan the sessions with my couples to choose a location that fits you both as a couple. This doesn't mean we have to stick locally either, I am open to travel to your favorite destinations!

Caitlin was very flexible with how busy and booked she is currently. My fiancé and I were hoping to get our engagement photos taken while my fiancé was still in town, and she was able to fit us in. She has amazing knowledge of local areas to shoot, and she took us to a couple spots in the Truckee area during Fall. She was able to give us direction on which clothes would work for the season and occasion, so that helped for bringing the right outfit. While taking the photos, she suggested poses and made us feel like we were very special and constantly giving complements (I think this is her secret to getting genuine shots). The photos turned out great and she used the sunset lighting to her advantage to create a nice glow around us. She was able to give us previews of some photos the next day, and her turn around for the photos was about two weeks. This worked for us, because we were excited about sending out some official pictures of us together as an engaged couple. She was professional, kind personable and knew how to get her camera setup correct quickly. We were finished in about an hour and that was plenty to get lots of great shots! Thanks Caitlin!

I would highly recommend Caitlin to anyone! She did an amazing job on my photos. She helped me with my wedding timeline, gave me so many great opinions and feedback on fun things to do during a wedding. She was very flexible on meeting with me to look at different photography styles. She worked with me even when I had to reschedule my wedding and cut the guest list due to covid-19. My husband is very much on the shy side, but Caitlin is so much fun and created a very comfortable vibe for both of us. I will hire her for our maternity shoot. ;)
