I have always had a huge love for traveling and exploring new places, when I became a wedding photographer I realized my love for destination weddings. My first destination wedding was a beautiful private beach house in Monterrey, CA and I was hooked! I love getting out of my own backyard and seeing all of the beautiful places people choose to share their love.
Typical destination wedding travel for me looks like arriving 2 days prior to the wedding when the destination requires flying. The allows for an extra buffer day to arrive in time for your day. The day before the wedding I set aside for scouting out the area for the wedding day and getting prepared for the day. After shooting the wedding I make sure to back up your wedding images in multiple places before boarding my flight home!

PREPLANNING - Prior to booking we get to sit down and plan out your day together. Destination weddings provide a bit more flexibility in the day and can extend over a few days. I always arrive 1-2 days before your big day to scout locations and make arrive ready for the day!

Your wedding day begins with getting ready whether you have a bridal party or its just you and your partner. All of my destination packages include 8 hours of coverage which is the perfect amount of time to capture your whole day beginning to end.
We build a perfect timeline together to make sure everything goes smoothly and you have your dream day.
The wedding day
Many of my couples choose to do a post wedding portrait shoot at the beach, town, or another beautiful landmark unique to their location. This gives more time to dress up in your wedding attire and shoot beautiful portraits. We can slow down and truly enjoy the landscape.
Wedding clients receive a sneak peak of their wedding day portraits the same days as their wedding! Then you can share your images with family and friends while you are on your honeymoon.
